It's 'No, I am your father'. An oft mis-quoted line.

You have to use the whole dialogue:

A: "Luke - I am your father"

B: "No, I am your father"

Morry Enters

"Don't listen to them Luke, neither are, I am!"

That film has got a few, the one where he emerges from the sewer and stretches his arms out - a truly iconic image, especially for anyone who's ever worked in a call centre.
I can't remember ever spontaneously laughing out loud at something I've read like I did at that. :D

Yes I have worked in a call centre.

A few off the top of my head.

Scent of a woman - When Frank Slade gives them what for on the stage near the end.

Ali - When Will Smith (who's great in that film and shit in everything else) goes for a run and the kids take him to see the wall art of him punching a tank.

True Romance - In the caravan when Dennis Hopper winds Christopher Walkden up on purpose so that he won't give away the info they want.

Legends of The Fall - When Tristan turns around to see that it's his brother who has shot the police man.

That's my favourite, too. "You're part eggplant". Dennis Hopper's character is the most courageous film character ever in that scene..

Jesus LOTR best scene ever!!

Scorsese's Goodfellas. Tooooooo many scenes to go into but for the films geeks:

Where Jimmy and Henry meet in the Cafe towards the end. Henry knows hes going to get whacked but doesnt know how. Jimmy asks him to go down to Miami to sort something. At that point Henry knows he wont come back.

All the time their sitting there the background of the shot, the street comes in closer and closer whilst Jimmy and Henry remain the same. Scorsese signified this as whilst the two characters remain the same the world around them is changing.

Obviously the tracking shot in goodfellas where Henry walks karen through the restaurant, which The Player with Tim Robins upstaged a few years later.

Taxi Driver:

Classic Travis "You talking to me....... You talking to me"

Casino: Where the FBI's plane runs out of fuel and lands on the golf course & All the casino stuff at the beginning.

The Fight scenes in Raging Bull

In the Pink Panther with that allo allo accent where he goes

"Does you dog bite"

"No"

Strokes dog, dog bites him

"I thought you said your dog doesnt bite"

"Thats not my dog"

The end of You Can Count on me, when Mark Ruffalo says to Laura Linney

"Just remember what we used to say when we were kids" (or something like that)

And the the silence as he gets on the bus.

Back To The Future Part I. Pretty much all the bits with Christopher Lloyd in. e.g...

His face when the model car sets on fire.

Also the unforgettable "Great Scott Marty....one point twenty one Jiggerwatts"

Class, brilliant bit of casting.

Casablanca's ending is seminal.

My old dear cries for about half an hour whenever she sees that scene, mind you she also cried when we were watching Bob The Builder Christmas Special so perhaps she's just depressed? Fuck knows, if my undies stop getting cleaned and the tea stops appearing on the table I may investigate further.

So true lad so true.

I currently work in a call centre, not one of those huge fuck off ones with hundreds of people, just a small one where all the staff know each other and get along. The work is shite though and enough is enough so the notice has now been served this afternoon!!

So I am currently having a Tim Robbins moment all of my own.

One drawback, I now need a new job...............

The realisation of the Cop in 'The Usual Suspects' that Kevin Spacey has led him a story of complete lies using names of things in his own office, and it zooms in on Verbal Kint and shows his gammy leg start walking normal.

Also, in 'Deliverance', the "Hey you kinda look like a hog, Squeal piggy, SQUEAL" leading to the arrow going through the yokel from Burt Reynolds scene..

Both seminal moments in movie history in my opinion..
