Well, I thought we would lose, and we did our best to.  Midfield was poor, Lallana was the only player who could keep hold of the ball.  Klavan and Matip once again look flaky.  Clyne wasn't on it at all today, neither was Milner.  Origi looked little more effective than Firmino, and Coutinho was routinely bad.

I'm hoping that this is another performance to hammer home to Klopp that most of these players are rubbish most of the time.

Character. We'd have lost that 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Wijnaldum man of the match. A goal and thought he showed a bit of cleverness late on, holding it up, recycling possession well. Matip had a half decent game too. Mané and Can, mainly for his goal, not as bad as others. Probably give the top rated player a 6.5 out of 10 though, as a reflection of what was a relatively poor performance.

3 points is 3 points at the end of the day, not a great performance as to many of our forward players were poor today. Thought Matip was good and young Woodburn deserves more game time off the back of that. Mingolet was steady enough as was Wijnaldum. Can scored the important winner but was a bit shit at times. Lallana was a bit meh as was mane, Coutinho was pants. We've played a lot better than that yet dropped points so nice to win ugly. Burnley make it hard to play against them at times through pure effort.

City away and then the Bitters away next, need to up it a bit, hopefully we get the injured players back.

Woodburn did OK in his cameo , Mig was good and solid under the route one shite other that Wijnaldum only outfield player that deserves to be paid this week . Maybe Can can have his bus fare home for scoring and wiping Klavan's arse for most of the game

The most worrying aspect is how cold we look at the start of these games. Not just this season as well. Is it under preparation? If not, then what?

Don't really understand why Klopp is persisting with our full backs bombing forwards completely disregarding anyone running in behind them.

At times in that first half there was a massive hole in the middle of the pitch for Burnley players to run into giving us all sorts of problems.

Look at Conte for example, he saw Chelsea lose a few games and changed it immediately. Klopp is still stubbornly persisting this way. Surely he has to change this approach, particularly against teams who just sit off waiting to counter attack us.

NBCSN just made Emre MOTM.

So did Sky.

Just emphasises the fact that the majority of the so called pundits know diddly shit about the game.
