Not having the "we were outplayed" thing at all.  Sure, we were poor, but we were still better than Newcastle.  They just got a lucky bounce and a poor offside call, and then score at the end when we're chasing the game.

 

It's the end of any title talk, sure, which is a disappointment, but it's hardly the end of the season.

We weren't outplayed, but we certainly haven't done enough to win, one fucking shot on target and that was a weak as fuck header.  Newcastle deserve this in my opinion, we deserved something from the Palace game, we just had a terrible fifteen minutes, we've been terrible today and deserve to leave with nothing.

It's hardly revelatory is it, Lucas stinking the place and the team out?  Milner hasn't had a decent game for weeks now, and Allen wasn't good either, but he was having to cover Lucas's arse as well as try and do something going forward.  That midfield is nowhere near good enough to win a league, and Henderson's comeback isn't really going to change things - he's not really good enough either.  

 

Today though, every last one of them was shit to varying degrees.

That was a poor performance, I don't think anyone can blame the disallowed goal we just didn't play well. I feel like we were missing some sort of drive from midfield with Allen and Lucas the only central player. Anyway shit happens we shouldn't get down and look to bounce back. I had a feeling about this game, that everything was going too well and it would be too good to be true. Fuck me.
