“We are self-employed individuals and not contracted sportsmen. We don't play for a team.

 

The other runners and riders in the tournament, it is their livelihood too. It is wrong, in my opinion, to walk into somebody who is not playing with the same pressures and concerns I am.

“He played like a man who does not have a care in the world, because he does not have a care in the world. It is not fair. It is not right. Amateurs should not be allowed in professional tournaments, the end.

I don't follow snooker much these days so don't know what Murphy is like but from the above he sounds like a bellend.

 

If you don't want amateurs coming into a tournament and taking food off your table, how about you, a long standing professional, send the amateur home by beating them.

To be fair I read a recent interview with Murphy recently where he called himself out for being a prick, apologised for a lot of his behaviour and said he would have a real go at being less obnoxious. He's not a bad pundit either.

Speaking to The Telegraph, the Hollywood star addressed whether actors should play roles they cannot personally identify with.

 

Some people have pointed out Sheen has played roles such as Edinburgh-born Tony Blair and David Frost from Kent.

 

However, he said cast and crew of his new drama, Best Interests, made him consider this position.

I find this a little silly to be fair, I always thought that as an actor you'd want to play somebody who wasn't you to push yourself and make yourself better at your craft.

 

As part of that I would have thought that playing somebody from a different place, a different gender or sexuality, a different background would be a good idea?

 

Some people are shite at accents, but they have a go. Some are brilliant, Jodie Comer has a gift for accents, Martin Freeman did a cracking job with a scouse accent in the responder I thought too.
