Virgil looks the poorest of them all, which kind of destroys your point, IMO.

Do you mean poorest like can't afford an overpriced fry-up or poorest like the worst defender?

I was having a go at your criticism of Alisson, not Lovren. Lovren's averageness speaks for itself while I felt Alisson was harshly criticised.

I gave Lovren a 4 and Alisson a 6. So not harsh at all on the Brazilian.

Never fear, there's more - the latest from the Scapegoat Chronicles:

http://www.espn.com.au/soccer/liverpool/story/3742787/liverpools-dejan-lovren-says-team-will-always-come-back-after-bad-results

(The article actually quotes VVD and Hendo too, but obviously the headline act for clickbait these days is our Dejan)

Due back for Burnley game I think. Good news as we desperately need depth at the back.

Not gonna name names. I hope those posters who posted snide comments about him faking his injury because he wasn’t up for a scrap against Wolves, would withdraw their comments.

don't get too excited, he'll be off with a broken finger nail in a few weeks.

He might very well be injury-prone, but accusing our own player of being a liar with very little basis is not on IMO.

maybe if he didn't cry off like a baby when he gets a cold, people would be more up for believing him. It seems he has a touch of the sturridges about him at times and seems unable to play when others would.

That’s veering too little too close to victim-blaming for my liking Barry.

Phillipe Coutinho was a liar while he played for us. Who knows also if we knew the whole story behind Clyne aswell?
