It'll go to Wiggins along with his knighthood. There's a case for Murray and Farah but I can't see it happening.

 

I think they could give the team of the year award to the whole of Team GB and obviously Farah, Murray and Ennis fall into that group.

Think you're correct there. I think it will be Wiggins. Great choices this year. Mo Farah would be my pick to be honest. Was nerve biting stuff watching him win his medals, especially the second gold and quite emotional stuff. Murray Ennis and Weir too are also in with a great shout

I disagree with your opinion on Murray and said in aforementioned thread how refreshing it is that so many of the contenders actually seem to have personalities this time round

Wiggins will win it, TDF and Olympic gold in the same year.

 

Harsh on Murray, but how do you begin to compare them. Wiggins' Tour win was a team effort in so many ways, but Murray gets four cracks at a grand slam every year. Farah won gold in the 5k and 10k, Ennis blew the field away in the heptathlon. This is before you even get onto the Paralympics.
