Really looking forward to the new album, I was a bit dubious but what i've seen and heard so far I like.

 

I thought it might of leaked by now

Didnt really like there last one but I'll see them in the V this year so the new best had be better

Was listening to Fake Tales the other day and thought how odd Alex was becoming what he once vilified - and what ace tunes they once had.

It leaked last week. It's the most accessible thing they've done since their debut; bits of it sound like Big Star and quite a lot of it sounds like The Roses. I really like it, but then unlike cochcaer I think they've pretty much got better and better with each album as they've diversified their range of influences.

I've got it too but found it pleasant enough but that it never sparks into life. A lot reminds me of Cornerstone and just gently washes over you as a Travis track did.

 

Enjoyed some of the shimmering tracks like Hellcat and You're Wrong.

Listened to it for the first time yesterday, and I've listened to it another two times already. I think it's fantastic.

Really suprised because I thought i'd hate it but its boss.

 

Loving Piledriver Waltz which is class on the Submarine soundtrack but sounds even better full band behind it.

Ain't heard it all what I have heard sounds ace, my mate said Black Treacle is a quality track.

Anyone else going to see them in the Echo Arena in November? Vaccines supporting as well, should be decent. On the plus side I wasn't expecting tickets but my bird got me them for our first wedding anniversary. Bad side, I've got to take her with me.
