Maybe they plan to rent it to us for our women and youth teams.

For a fee they’d probably let us put a big, river-facing copy of our Champion’s Wall on the outside.

Haven’t been arsed to check the accuracy of it but just read that from March 10th of this year onwards Everton’s last trophy will be closer in time to England’s 1966 World Cup win than it is to the present day.

Sounds about right.

I think that is true 30 years and counting!

And so to the GOT Luton FA Cup match thread. Curiously devoid, for the most part, of conspiracy theories or Big 6. Instead mainly Dyche and player bashing.

Still some gems…

I think after 43 years that I've had my fill of Everton.

We've been beaten twice at home by Luton Town this season. Good luck to them. I suspect they'll do the treble by season's end. Following us now is about court cases, appeals, points deductions, and successive losses at home to Luton. They look more honest than us to me. I'm resigning myself to the inevitable. We're not good enough to help ourselves out of what looks, increasingly, like a campaign to relegate us.

Our first 11 is top half but when we have a few injuries we are relegation material.

I always stand back and admire you Everton fans who travel huge distances to watch the Blues, very easy for me to go to the game five minutes away by bus or car, and you fans face your journeys in all types of weather and face miserable trips home after another poor performance, I hope today isn’t one of those days.
My trek is relatively short compared to coming up from Somerset. But my journey consists of every inch of the M62 then the frustrating traffic lights on Queens Drive to the ground. Come to think of it, I reckon that there is some kopite gobshite in the traffic department at the council who changes the frequency on the lights changing especially going home to delay us. Can imagine the RS getting all the preferences when the Pit empties out.

Could be worse could be a depressed RS fan tonight, knowing you're about to be condemned to mediocrity again. We're used to it.
to be fair their version of mediocrity is finishing 5th and making decent Europa runs, would kill for that at the moment

It's an Everton universe this means whoever we get next becomes the paisley to Klopps Shankly.

Sometimes I think I love Everton, they always cheer me up when I'm feeling down. The Klopp news this week was pretty saddening along come Everton to the rescue, ensuring another year passes by without any silverware :0)

Was saying that to one of the lads earlier. They're fucking brilliant and I will miss them when they're gone.

So who/what is to blame now seeing as it wasn't a premier league game and that Luton aren't a Cartel/Sky 6 club?.

Heysel?

The conspiracy has extended to the Council who are controlling the traffic lights on Queens Drive and the M62 to make Evertonians late back to Colwyn Bay.
