*Shakes head* Everton again.

An Evertonian in work has been sent a survey to complete by the club on transport links.

He is one of the few who doesn't believe that the stadium will happen as he has had 4 surveys for new stadia sent to him in the last 20 years.

The words analyse & engagement feature heavily in all the ones he's been sent.

Interesting article

https://royalbluemersey.sbnation.com/2018/12/18/18146838/manchester-united-new-manager-search-pochettino-tottenham-spurs-marco-silva-everton-mourinho-sacked

"As Tottenham look to replace Pochettino, Silva would likely be one of the first they would want to take a long hard look at. In style he would be the closest manager to what they currently play, and currently operates with a squad that could be considered similar in quality to what Pochettino currently has. "

and

"Under Farhad Moshiri and Marcel Brands, Silva will not have the financial shackles that he would at Spurs, and keeping the longer-term picture in mind, switching to Tottenham can possibly be considered a lateral move. Following two consecutive Premier League runners up finishes, can Spurs be considered to have peaked, while Everton’s ceiling remains unknown for the next couple of years? "

A blue on my Facebook shared this before and got all excited about it:

Ryazantsev on funding: “We put together an information memorandum that was shared with potential funders. We know the right structure on funds. We have a clear idea on costs. We have a very good grasp of what it looks like. In many ways we’re ahead of our time” #EFC

Basically. We know how much it will cost, we haven't got the money, no one has lent us any but we have cobbled together a report which says how much it will probably cost.

Haha. Hahahahahahahahaha. Fucking hell.

There is probably some truth in that to be fair -- it really depends how Silva performs there and how much money they are happy to continue investing into & the squad and for how long. Everton are a bit of an unknown quantity in that respect; with Spurs you probably know what you're going to get. A team whose stadium project went way over budget, and will probably spend the next 5 years scratching around for pennies in order to bring any new players in (or selling the decent batch they've got at the moment). If Pochettino does go then it wouldn't be surprising to see Spurs in a tricky position very quickly.

Fuuuummme

They are in theory getting a brand new stadium with over 10,000 more seats than the one they currently struggle to fill, and they are still annoyed because they were expecting a fucking million seater one that's actually floating up and down the mersey.

Looking at the list below then I don't see what their issue is. They arent a top 6 club, so they don't have one of the top 6 biggest stadiums. Is that not fair?
