I booked a table for Valentines night for me and the wife. I just know it's going be a disaster though as she is shite at snooker.

Laughed out loud there, my dad (grandad) died 9 years ago tomorrow, his funeral a few days later had a coffin topper costing £130. My nan who died 2 years ago in the October had the same topper by the same florist for £90.

I've fucked up again. I got it in the neck last year for not bothering with Valentine's Day at all. I knew I'd better make an effort this year so I asked my Mum to have the kids and said we'd go away for the night.

 

I forgot all about it till just now, so I got my arse on lastminute.com and sorted a hotel. Being cheap, for the first time ever I took a chance on one of those 'Top Secret Hotels'. Just had the confirmation through. It's two minutes from our house. Twat.
