Guns N’ Roses review, Glastonbury 2023: Frontrunners for the worst Glasto headline set of all time

Axl Rose flips between a lower register that resembles a clogged lawnmower and a higher one that sounds like Barry Gibb suffering the mother of all wedgies

Not seen many say anything. I was out all day yesterday and came home to them doing ‘Live and Let Die’ and I thought it sounded crap. But I had been been on the ale all afternoon/evening. From what I’ve seen elsewhere it doesn’t seem as bad as I remember it last night. Going to watch it later.

Just watching the Manics. Should have have been up before G ‘n R.

They supported Bon Jovi at Anfield but I didn't see them as I was outside catching up with @johnb and by the time we went in they were playing Design for Life and ending the set.

I have no regrets.

I always watch Glastonbury main sets on bbc even if I don't really like the artist much - but i just rewlly dislike Elton John, just never been able to take to him/his stuff....

Give some reasons to watch him - as i am just thinking 'no fuck that'....

TBF he can't pull that stuff off now either.

you're right, he can't.  But what fantastic albums they are.  He does actually sound like a cross between Norman Collier (look him up) and Vic Reeves these days.
