Never read that quote before. Thanks for posting it.  Strange the conflicting views of him though!  I guess everyone has different facets to their character.

I was about 18 when I watched the first sopranos episode. I couldn't get into it, toward end of series 1 my mate brought a video around and recommended that episode to watch, was hooked from then

I watched it all over 10 years ago and liked it but didn't think it was as good as The Wire and The Shield but I'm on my first rewatch now and am absolutely loving it, it's definitely on a par with the shows I mentioned. I think you need to be a little older to fully appreciate it.
