So, today I get into my flat and close the door. Grab the handle, lift upwards, and *SNAP!* the doorknob has been broken off.

 

I was absolutely gobsmacked, sitting there with the doorhandle in my hand and free to be waved around and whatnot.

 

I can't open the door.
