My advice is get used to couriers, because they're here to stay, especially if postal strikes continue.

We've never had a problem with Hermes/Evri. We get one of two people from them delivering to us, a mother and daughter.

Yodel are the ones. Fucking awful company in my experience.

This company is fucking shite.  But, they're cheap so people use them, woe betide if you ever have to contact them if a package goes missing.  Their customer service is hopeless.

I've fortunately not had major issues with Hermes or Yodel, but UKMail were awful on the one occasion I had to deal with them.

I have 5 parcels out with Evri, next day delivery been between 7 and 4 days for each so far and waiting. 

 

I dont blame the drivers they get shit on, I blame the owners and the managers, I hope their Christmas is mildly disappointing.

This has largely been my experience too. Hermes always seem to deliver my stuff on the stated date and within the allocated time slot. Yodel don’t and just leave stuff on the step if you’re not in. They’re shite. 
 

DPD have always been decent for me too. I think it’s them who you can track the driver with and see how many deliveries he’s got before you etc.

This thread seems to be full of very contradictory reviews. I’m wondering which services I should tell to fuck off with my package.

During the early days of the pandemic my business ground to a complete halt and I didn’t qualify for any support.

I thought I better try and do something useful, so I applied for a delivery drivers job at Hermes. Got offered the job on the basis of a five minute phone call during which I made it clear I had zero experience. 
 

The reviews I found online from former, and current, employees meant I didn’t even make my first day. I know these things should be taken with a pinch of salt but there were just so many…

 

They do seem to be absolutely useless. They’d have been worse if I’d have started working for them.

To be honest never had an issue with Evri.  The young lady who delivers is quite good and leaves things in a safe place if not in.  Hermes were shit though.

Had a delivery by Evri the other day, and the lady involved decided to eschew knocking on the front door and for some reason came down our side driveway into the back garden and knocked at the patio doors into the kitchen where I was looking at this forum. Seeing as I was in the house on my own she was extremely lucky I wasn't on the Kylie or Milf threads.
