Was that in '93? I'm sure we managed to catch both of them, although maybe we skipped some of the Velvet Underground set. VU were on the main stage early evening Friday and Suede headlined the NME stage later.* All I can really remember of VU was Lou Reed snarling at the crowd at one point, their set wasn't great.

 

* This may or may not be accurate given the amount of drugs consumed.
