Peter Alliss is, by far, the best golf commentator on tele. It’s not the same without him. Fuck Sky and their coverage and all the add breaks too. Alliss is ace. Him not doing he commentary on the Open’ last hole just isn’t right. Did like the Nick Dougherty chats and 99 yard challenge though.

I agree on the ad breaks . The Open was the best sporting event on TV. You could sit down and really get into a full uninterrupted days golf without some cunt trying to encourage you to gamble every few minutes, I've always detested Murray on Sky, Livingstone in the studio is a fucking bag of wind and Riley on the course is an unfunny cunt. Harmon is good , Boxall and Beem ok,   Alliss and Brown are traditional and part of the furniture and whilst PA getting very long in the tooth I would much prefer the BBC had kept the coverage.

He won last week on the Challenge tour, and that was big for him, but this is massive and gets him on the main tour for 2 or 3 years I think, so a bit of a life changer!
