I, Partridge: We Need To Talk About Alan

Not very funny if you don't like Alan Partridge though.

Good shout.

I have the other one, Nomad, at home bit haven't read it. I did look at the first page though and it says "Nomad" and gives three definitions, the third one being "Scottish - not mad". Which was a good start

The Tom Sharpe novels were all very funny. Not read them for years so not sure how they have dated.

Yeah, they are all very funny. Wilt, Porterhouse Blue, A Blott on the Landscape and The Throwback. He had many more, but those are the ones which spring to mind.

Lucky Jim by Kingsley Amis is very funny.

The Dice Man - Luke Rhinehart

Paddy Clarke Ha, ha, ha - Roddy Doyle

Puckoon - Spike Milligan

Excellent book, although i wouldn't say it is mega funny, although it does have its moments.

I've only just reluctantly bagged up my copy of that with a bunch of books to give to my local charity shop. God knows how many years I've had it.

I had it for years but it got passed around to so many friends in college that it eventually went missing.  I got it again on Amazon a few years ago.  Laughed myself silly again at it.
