I think they will be put to the sword in the return leg. Arsenal look woefully short of quality and Madrid had Torres and Costa on the bench. With 11 men Madrid would have won tonight and will likely win at home.

 

Sad end for Wenger but he should have left on a high last year.

They don't but much like the mancs last year they seem to have all the luck needed to scrape in...hopefully tonight is the start of that luck running out.

 

If they miss the european cup again then it diminishes their pull to players - at the moment them being out of it as an anomaly and they still are seen as a european cup level team, win the europa this year get back in and they are on the up - 2 years out though it starts to become harder to get back in and their pull becomes less.

I won a bottle of Hai-Karate at a school raffle once. My parents were shouting "choose the wine" but I grabbed the Hai-Karate instead as I thought it had something to do with Bruce Lee.
