Have we got a replacement? Or are we going on a search for a world class talent only to end up offering it Dorothy from the tea rooms because she once took an evening course in Lotus 1-2-3?

Paul Joyce has a piece in the express today about Jurgen Klopp's one-year anniversary http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/718104/Liverpool-Jurgen-Klopp-Premier-League-Dejan-Lovren-Pepijn-Lijnders-Ian-Ayre-News.

Interviewed, among others, was Ian Ayre. I read this bit and thought he might have been taking a dig at Brendan Rodgers:

He is extremely collaborative. He is prepared to have the debate. He will say his piece and stand his ground, and so he should, but he is a grown-up and he is prepared to accept that not everything will be as he wants...

A dig?
