Nothing to see here. Southgate says that Henderson might not have enough game time in the remaining 9 league games to cement his place.  Not news.

Klopp is always going to go optimistic, probably because that's his nature, and creating in part, so the fans don't panic.

 

He's done it way too many times now.

I think this adds to the worries about midfield. We have a lot of players who can play in there for just 3 alots, but not many look nailed on or reliable except fabinho. Henderson as you say, milner getting too old, Jones not quite ready for 50 games a season, Gini leaving, thiago has not lived up to expection, Shaq is as injury prone as Henderson and klopp seems not to fancy him in that 3, pretty much the same with chamberlain and finally keita, what can you say positive about him? Then we've Wilson and Grujic on loan, but it doesn't look like either of them are up to it.

We need two midfielders - one who never stops working and one who's good enough to play in a few attacking positions. One maybe two CBs and I think that will be it. Maybe a young striker if we can move on a few.
