Nadine Dorries wants a Brexit deal that leaves the UK with MEPs and a Commissioner.

What the actual fuck is wrong with these people?

You misunderstand my intentions. The evidence shows that certain clusters of genetics have certain strengths and weaknesses. I want to make sure that those that have certain weaknesses are given all the targeted help they need, rather than left to struggle against some false race-blindness because people refuse to accept the evidence. If you don't have a benevolent science of race, then the malevolent opportunists will fill the vacuum.

The science of genetics does the benevolent stuff you're referring to. It tends to be phrased in the not very catchy terminology of "people from these ethnic backgrounds tend to have these genes, which make them more susceptible to these conditions..."

There's no need to resort to the false, anti-scientific and misleading language of race.

EU saying no more negotiating. Surely time now for Labour to put up or shut up. They'll now have to back May's deal, no deal or no Brexit. Whatever happens at least it won't go on too much longer.

The only thing more idiotic than leave voters is people believing any politician gives a fuck about the working class.  Labour are the tory party with a nicer smile.

It may very well be my bias... as I admire Chomsky, and I find Sam Harris’s thought experiments not useful and extremely irritating.

I share the same bias. I generally dislike Harris and like Chomsky. But it was like two smart guys throwing popcorn at each other.

How could you say that when this man is the current leader of Labour. If that was me posting that comment you would’ve been the first to cry “wum, attention seeking, mental health issues, etc”

One smart guy, one faux intellectual trust fund baby quim

For me, they’re both intellectuals. Noam is one of the most well celebrated intellectuals in the world but he’s also a touch older and further along down the road. I don’t think it’s fair to call Harris a faux intellectual. I just don’t like a lot of what he says.

Fair enough mate, I don’t have the time or inclination to back up my point that he’s a fraudulent “logic” and “reason” guru, so I’ll just call you a cunt and carry on cooking my eggs.

Good day to you, sir

A glib response, in full. Some people need support from cradle to grave. No stone should be left unturned in how to best treat the problem of suffering.

Saying ‘half of the electorate’ is all well and good but how many people who voted in the referendum actually vote regularly in GE’s anyway? The numbers must be available somewhere.

I fall into that category. I've never voted in a GE as it's a waste of time.

The referendum was the first time I've been given the opportunity to take part in a vote that might actually change something. What that change will/might be I don't know but it's a chance I was willing to take.

Oh, and to save anyone the trouble of checking the poll to see how I voted. I voted leave.

We’re working on it.

The three senior positions at Yardley CLP (Jess Phillips’ constituency) went to the left  at their AGM, despite little Jess’ best efforts to get the ‘centrist’ vote out. Not best pleased is our Jess.

Pole-pole, as they say in Swahili.

I’m out leafleting this week by myself. Got a big box of them here.

Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care is my local MP. He’s completely ignored people round here for years when they’ve tried to contact him over the fact they can’t get a doctors appointment. And I mean completely ignored people. Everyone receives the same automated reply from his office and they closed another one of the doctors surgeries earlier this year with hardly any warning. Now he’s the man in charge of the NHS. You couldn’t make this shit up.

Best I can hope for is his majority shrinking a bit.
