I'm not stupid enough to think he could still do a job as he has hardly set alight a number of poorer leagues since leaving us but I do find it strange when people say he wasn't good enough last time round, he was brilliant for the half season on the original short term contract he signed then for whatever reason he didn't really get a look in after starting at Sheffield United (and scoring a pen) on the opening day but still seemed to have a fairly good scoring rate in the cup games that he played that season

 

obviously he wasn't brilliant that season otherwise he'd have played more but not good enough is a bit of a diservice to him if my memory serves well

Suarez is another instinctive player. Somebody like Van Persie is less instinctive but a bit more technically measured in his finishing.

If the owners wont sanction a move for a player in his 20's, on moderate wages who'd scored 17 league goals last year they're hardly likely to fund the retirement of any of the afore-mentioned has-beens instead.
