I think he would like to play in the Euros - quite probably as Captain.

Gerrard likes playing for England and takes pride in playing for his country, as did Carragher.

No problem with that, me. I don't like the England set-up very much, but I hope Gerrard gets Captain. If that's what rocks his world, he deserves it.

Scott Parker may not make it to the Euros, so Gerrard would be in contention for a place as well as the captaincy. It appears that Roy has rested his first team GK at West Brom as well. So he's taking the England job seriously then and willing to make the sacrifices required to lead Engerlund to victory. Blah blah blah.

Steven played 120 minutes against Cardiff, ran off to England's match only to have Pearce take the piss and name Scott Parker captain over him. Played 20 minutes, tweaked his hammy and missed our most important match against Arsenal, when the CL was still in play.

Enough. This match matters, too. If he's fit, he should be on the pitch in a Liverpool shirt.

Can't get any streams to work.

I've got City on the tv and BBC sport on the laptop.

Hoping City concede 3, then just as the filth think they've won the thing Sunderland score from a dodgy penalty in the 94th minute at the stadium of light and ferguson has a heart attack as the final whistle goes.

He's a very tidy young player, that Joe Allen. He's the sort of young player we should have coming through the ranks year after year.
