Velvet Revolver - Contraband

Top class album for anyone into the monsters of rock style band -Slash( from Guns n roses) is pretty amazing in it with some class rips

Duff( gnr also) pretty good also and Scott weiland ( ex stonr temple pilots ) is class

I heard Razorlight in the live-lounge on Radio 1 and thought they were excellent, then I heard the proper recording of the song and thought it was a bit naff!

Havent heard much Velvet Revolver...buts Slash and scott weiland are has beens to me... Weiland and Stone Temple Pilots just tried to copy Pearl Jam..I would much rather prefer the real deal... Pearl Jam are by far the greatest concert experience of my life, and if anybody get their hands on the live dvd "Live at the Garden", you will catch my drift!... Best live act around!!

 

Audioslave at the Norwegian wood festival in Oslo last summer was just amazing... That`s the very definition of rock!...Chris Cornell has the ultimate voice.

 

If you are more into progressive rock then TOOL are brilliant...anyone without the album Ænima... Go buy!!!

 

Vocalist James Maynard Keenan`s side project A perfect Circle is also of a very very high standard!!!

How can you say that they are has beens ????? when you admitv you ain't listened "much" to the album???

Slash's guitar rips are as good as they always were ,even better in some cases -Weiland isn't the best granted but some of the tracks on this he's superb
