Hi,

Can i use a old controller on the new 250gb xbox 360, they both have identical buttons only visual difference is the colour.

mine won't connect

Probably because you haven't paired the controller with the new console.

 

To connect an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller to your Xbox 360 console

 

1. Make sure that both the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller and the Xbox 360 console are turned on.

2. On the console, press the connect button.

 

 

 

3. On the controller, press the connect button.

 

 

4. The green lights that surround the Guide button on the controller and the power button on the console spin and flash when the controller is being connected to the console. After the controller is connected, a single green light illuminates on the controller and on the console to show you which quadrant the controller is connected to.
