Very happy with that team would have preferred Agger though but I hope we see the Skrtel that basically eats anyone within a radar of him and is our rock in defence.

 

Reckon we will see the front 3 of Gerrard, Maxi and Cole all interchanging throughout the game. Noticed Hodgson likes doing that.

Would have preferred Agger to Skrtel and Babel to Maxi. Can't see Maxi causing too many problems for Evra and Skrtel is bound to give away a pen or free kick within scoring range.

See what you mean about 2 centre backs. There is a good reason for that though, with Aurelio being injured, if like against Birmingham, Konchesky picked up a knock, we do have Agger as cover there. If Aurelio was fit it probably be more likely that we would have Aurelio and Agger on the bench rather than 2 centre backs.
