its our cup final. this season is now all about stopping the scum winning the league.

 

i'll be happy with any points off them and rooney taking out lucas and getting a 3 match ban. that'll fuck their league chances right there. lucas' forced layoff will then give aquilani a chance to shine.

Hah, just went into the local supermarket and saw one of the kids that works in there, he's a manc fan. He's always talkative and was down one of the aisles, so I got my lager, went back to him and said "are you looking forward to torres at half past one then?" He went "You what?" Said it again and he was like "Yuu....*gasp* yuheheheh...." Loved it! Never seen him speechless before.

We need to be positive in our approach to this game. They're nowhere close to the level they were at last season.

 

Valencia and Rooney are the two who can hurt us. Insua needs to be on his game today, it might be better for him to be more defensive this afternoon.

 

If Aquilani is fit, I think we should start him in the center alongside Mascherano. Steven behind Fernando, Kuyt on the right and Bennayoun/Babel on the left would be my preference.

 

However even if we play Lucas and Mascherano in the center, if we're positive and look to score, we should be able to beat them.

 

Looking forward to this one.
