This is kind of Viagra related. I also don't know if I should laugh at it or not, but I did anyway.

A guy who I know who works in a bar in Leeds, who shall remain nameless, came in to the bar a few weeks ago, early on a saturday evening. The conversation somehow turned to Viagra and with that he suddenly came out and said, "I took some viagra last night with that bird I went homw with, and I think I might have accidentally raped her".

We were obvioulsy fucking aghast, and wondering why he would volunteer this info. He went on...

He was having some pretty rough sex with some bird the night before, totally wasted on all kinds of shit. Midway through she said, "I like it rough". So he started proper ragging her everywhere, spitting in her face, slapping her round the back of the head, all that good stuff, until he finished his business.

Afterwards she sat on the end of the bed staring in to space, hugging herself and generally looked to be in some kind of mild shock.

Apparently she hadn't said, "I like it rough" but had actually said, "I've had enough".

i can't vouch that that this is a 100% true story, but it made me laugh uncomfortably.

Yeh - seen a couple of Rocco's 'Animal Trainer' movies myself. Now answer my question, you delusional twat.

Xabi's form dipping for 2 years a myth in all honesty... he was still one of our best performers during those season just not as good as before. The fact that Rafa tried to force him out last summer, is obvious. So he is pissed off, I just hope they make up.

PS: One thing that makes me laugh, is that the same people who say he was poor for 2 seaons are the same who were backing Rafa during that awful winter of 2007 were blaming Xabi's injury on the teams bad form! You couldn't make it up.

What I mean is that a player needing to be sold because he was so poor, is a myth. Even Gerrard has had dips... some players go through 60% of a season as shit but are hailed for the 20 games they do well in.

It's lovely to see threads stay on topic isn't it?

Let's ignore the real translation of the interview given in this thread and still assume Sly sports is genius and always right. I've also heard he said clearly he's already answered that question many times and doesn't want to anymore. A player wants to stick to talking about his national team instead of club politics at an international competition? *shock*

Also, let's believe Mascherano, who does those psychotic celebrations which everyone was raving on about is actually not that interested in staying here.

Liverpool's perilous financial position has increased speculation about the future of their star names, with Reds boss Rafael Benitez consistently denying midfielder Javier Mascherano is on his way out of Anfield.

Torres also believes the Argentinian will stay, adding: "Javier loves it at Liverpool, that is all I can tell you.

"In the summer people like to make a lot of noises about world-class players - and Javier is a world-class player. He has said himself that he is very happy at Anfield and there is no reason for him to want to leave."

I don't answer to you, you sad little virgin.

What I know is what I know. How I know it is nobody's business but mine.

If I tell you something, then count yourself fucking lucky I've even bothered my fine ass to stoop to communicating with a pathetic little skid mark like you.

now piss off before I hunt down your sister and make her say "i've had enough".

Rash - It's less to do with being touted about last season and mroe about what happened this season. Whether people agree on his form or not in previuos seasos is irellevant. He did the work and turned it round, big time. He rightly assumed that the Barry debacle should be water under the bridge and his performances would warrant some respect and some loyalty.

It's the fact that he was being touted about at the end of last season - having been our player of the season - that's the straw that broke the camel's back.

And now, cos he didn't get Gareth Barry, Rafa's back tracking and arse kissing has begun.

Yeah, it's down to Xabi now I suppose, he isn't being forced to leave any more, and if he goes then he goes of his own accord. Definitely. I won't argue with that. But it's rafa's fault it's come to this situation in the first place.

if he hadn't touted him out behind his back and the didn't get Barry then we'd have kept Alonso happy and ultimately kept him. As it stands the relationship is now too broken to fix.

He was pretty vague about the Madrid questions when Spain played as far back as March, he was asked about Caleron returning and he gave a vague answer then. So in all fairness, I am not sure how much the end of season shenanigans has actually influenced his decisions.

I think everybody is planting themselves in their favourite corners here, do you honestly think Xabi would be contemplating leaving us if it was any other club apart from Madrid?

I think if Bayern, Juventus or Inter where interested he would tell them where to go, but Barca and Madrid are a different proposition.

I have not ITK confirmation of this by the way, just how I would like it to be!

Mate whether we say he was poor or average whatever. But surely everyone would agree last season he was twice the player of the previous 2 years.

Hence why Benitez doesnt want to sell him now, his value has doubled from last year and the like of carragher are saying he was player of the year.

But I admit I was one who would have sold him last year for the best part of 20 million without doubt but he has imo been excellent this year and i hope we keep him and he and benitez sort out their differences.

You think he wanted to, or you think he just thought there was no repairing their relationship.

You might be right but if he did want to sell he has publicly spoken about alonso in a total different light this summer than last.

IMO I dont think he wants to sell alonso now

Of course he doesn't now!

But if we'd landed Barry then Alonso would have been kicked to the kerb like a cheap whore.

Nah, don't believe that at all, I don't think he gets on with Rafa, but so what?

We have seen what Mascherano's agent has done, we have seen what Arbeloa has said, and we have seen what Torres has said!

So why is Xabi being so coy? If he wants away get his agent to make the move, if he wants to entertain Madrid say so, if he wants to stay say so.

The examples are all there for him, maybe it is a different kettle of fish, but Gerrard said he didn't feel wanted by the club and he stayed, he and Carragher have more or less said that they don't enjoy a relationship with Rafa, so why is Xabi so different?

If he wants to go to Madrid then fine, I don't blame him, but say so?

When/if he does go, think it might be an idea for everyone to stop and think before they post though? I don't think this place is going to bo very pretty.

I love Xabi Alonso as much as the next - straight - man, but I see absolutely nothing morally wrong with Rafa trying to get him sold during the season. (The footballing judgement behind is definitely questionable.)

Rafa's job is to do what's best for Liverpool and as long as he has that job, it is his prerogative to try and sell and buy players as he sees fit. Even the ones, that the fans really, really like. Waiting 'till the transfer window opens to move is asking for trouble.

If it has made Xabi want to leave due to his feelings being hurt by being treated as a coomodity, then so be it. He seems to be a good honest man and very much and old fashioned type, which I can only applaud in a football world inhabited by horrible, greasy self-obsessed cretins. But Xabi is still payed somewhere between 60-80.000 pounds A WEEK to play in front of a crowd that absolutely loves him at one of the finest clubs in the world.

If his hurt feelings overshadow that, it is a real shame. But he will be moving to his home country and Liverpool FC will receive a huge amount of money which could be spent on players getting us closer to the holy grail, which would ultimately leave the fans happy.

Ha. We'll have to agree to disagree as surely Benitez is aware of more than barry in the world of football to replace Alonso if he feels alonso can be improved on.

I think he wanted to replace him with barry last year. Alonso has had a great year and now he wants to keep him.

I think he tried to sign barry again as cover if Alonso would have demanded to leave or otherwise he would have kept the 2 with barry playing in all sorts of positions.

Might be wrong but regardless I hope its sorted and Alonso is kept. Think it would have negative implications for the whole side if Alonso was sold now listening to the comments made by various players including carragher

If he was being touted about this past season then it is an absolute disgrace and akin to a personal agenda to get him out but now back track as Barry fucked off somewhere else for money. But then that is IF it's true Tommo - not saying your sauce is wrong.

It kind of makes sense though because when asked about Alonso a few months ago, Rafa was vague and would not admit that he got it wrong about trying to sell Alonso last summer.

Haha, you are Kris Kamara, Hammy, Thommo you are scousier than most scousers.

A few months ago Rafa and Alonso were both vague!

People seem to forget that although football is emotional for us as fans, for those involved it is a business & using emotive terms just muddies the water.

No-one is "touted about"

Inquiries are constantly being made from all angels.

We should always know the value of our players: If City were willing to pay £200m for Alonso we should try to sell him.

Even then if he doesn't want to go he doesn't have to!

(Likely he will get a huge slice of cash)

Also, Xabi wants to get paid what he deserves: the fall in £ & the rise in marginal tax rates are common knowledge & his agent will be looking to correct that.

All the posturing now is about money (as it was Torres who got a new contract, Arbelo who wants 1 & Pepe whose agent has leaked a story about Barca wanting him)

It's a business.

I don't give a fuck whether i like my boss or not compared to how much i take home at the end of the day & footballers are no different.
