Any idea what kit we'll use? Both the Red and Grey will clash.

 

I think we really need to win these next 3 games against Stoke, Everton and Wigan to stay up there, as we then enter into a really tough run of games, with the FA Cup and CL wedged in between.

Massive , massive game this. Televised , 24 hours before our two biggest rivals play and the chance to extent our lead.

 

It's vital that we don't "control" the game at the cost of urgency or penetration. Up and at them from the opening minute because they will fold under the pressure as their last 4 results attest to. This is a very big game.

I think Benayoun would be horribly ineffective in that role against Stoke. Especially if Faye is man marking him. I'd go with two up top for the first while, see how it goes and then have Keane drop off if it's ineffective.

This is the exact line up I would play to.The oly possible change is if Xabi was fit in which case I would either have him or Mascherano start and the other on the bench.

Indeed. This weekend will go a long way to determining the champions of England , I fully expect the Mancs to beat Chelsea with ease and hope we can do likewise.

 

I'll be very confident of the title if we beat Stoke on saturday.

I'm getting nervous ahead of every match now. They're all huge. So let's leave Sunday's game aside for now and focus on this.

 

Are all of our players fit? What of Alonso? Is Insua available?

 

Assuming that we're without Alonso and Insua, and that Arbeloa isn't 100 per cent yet - and bearing in mind that Stoke are a big, physical, dirty bunch of fuckers - I'll go with:
