Rage is still on mate. A little hit and miss. I'll have a look at those recommendations. Of the bands over here now I think Powder Finger are quite good (Brisbane band), Wolfmother I like, Jet's music is reminiscent of AC DC but their lyrics (to me at leat) are pretty shite (repetetive). There are a few decent bands to be honest, but I'm probably not in any good state to speak me sense on that. I was in the Bascombe thread for example and thought it was on the GF! Time to stop drinking, watch the Blue Shite, read the site and go to bed I think.

Stouff, what's the story with this Beaujolais stuff....does it age well or not? I've got a 1998 bottle of Paul Boutinot...is it likely to be like battery acid by this time?

As a 1998 bottle I doubt it's "nouveau".

I think in standard conditions it will keep at it's best for 5/6 years.

Crack it open and see.

For what it's worth, its says Beaujolais Nouveau on the label, but after 11 years, as you say, it can hardly be described as new like.

Nouveau should be drank immediately, by rights you should have Vin du Sarsons there hombre.

Crack it open, see how bad it is.
