Buy your own football club

Wouldn't it be a bit annoying for the local fans of the club who have followed them for years to become the plaything of a few thousand Tom, Dick and Rashid's from the Internet. If they want to do it then start at the bottom and work up, new club, new idea, would be very interesting.

On a more serious note how the hell can you buy a club for £1.3M

Values of football clubs fall exponentially as you go down the divisions, as do player wages. How much would the average small company with 40 low-paid employees cost on the open market?

I can't see it being any more annoying than for a football club to become the plaything of Russian or American billionaires.

I can. There's no responsibility. A lot of people could just be fucking aroud and go picking a 1-5-4. The manager is going to be ace too isn't he, his role involved checking the polls on friday and transfering them to the blackboard, bet they get a top man for that.

MyFootballClub wants people to pay £35 in a bid to raise £1.4m to buy a team, with each member an equal partner.

The website has a list of 15 clubs that supporters want to buy, with Leeds United, who have been relegated to League One, currently top of the list.

Leeds for one and a half million? :ermm:
