evidently because he did it through paypal and he received a package (envelope with photocopies of tickets) he had no comeback with paypal. The old bill are involved now and the fella who sold them insists his mail was tampered with.

This is why nobody should buy tickets from touts, period. It's a filthy rotten trade, and the people who are willing to pay 800 quid for tickets are the ones fuelling this sort of behaviour. Sorry to say I have little sympathy for the guy.
