In American hospital dramas, there is always a patient presenting with unexplained symptoms that the dead clever doctors have to diagnose. I can only assume that primary care in the US is shite, because over here you tend to have all the diagnostic tests before you go to hospital.

Shooting a lock will always open it.

Hahahaha yes. The worst example being Bond in Skyfall when the tube is coming round the corner.

I might have mentioned it before but when someone is getting chased (either by baddies of cops) and they stop to look left and right. Give it toes you mad cunt

US crime programmes when 100s of SWAT team members roll up to the perps house, Hummers and SUVs everywhere backed up by police cruisers, and not one person on the street gawping at whats going on as they hoof the door in.

Not one.

There's a reason for that in America mate.

When people (usually gangsters or people up to no good who should be super aware and alert) leave a property and get in their car, as they pull away a car across the street immediately pulls out to follow them them and they rarely ever notice.

I've always loved a little detail in Left Handed Gun. Billy the Kid shoots someone and the dead man's boot comes off. Some daft little toddler runs into the street, points at the boot and laughs, until his mum comes out, cuffs him around the head and drags him off home. It's exactly the sort of stuff that doesn't happen in films and that makes the whole scene horribly realistic.

And they don’t bother covering the back and the perp gets away, usually involving the hero vaulting from roof to roof chasing them.

Like in a recent episode of Better Call Saul, the perpetrator has a gun and threatens to shoot his rival for ages before getting killed themselves because they didnt kill them off straight away.

Hahaha yep. We've captured Bond, an Ex SAS now MI6 spy. Instead of putting a bullet through his head let's give him ages to get out of it and kill the fuck out of us all and go and get the girl.

Bar scenes usually end with the characters having to go off somewhere in a hurry leaving half a beer behind.

Cops bringing coffee back to their patrol car. Nailed on they take one sip, then a call comes in and they hoik it all away. Bring a thermos to work you dopey twat.
