If that doesn't make it into a Labour party political broadcast, then something's gone seriously wrong.

If it was the other way round the tories would turn it into a real weapon and ensure it was spread far and wide to bash labour round the head with.

Sadly i don't have faith labour will do same - the machine is just not as slick.

ITV news there having to stress that Charlie's speech mentioning food banks wasn't political, because heaven forbid anyone making a connection between the plight facing millions in this country and the cunts running it. Was hoping to avoid politics today. Fuck off. Just fuck off and take the smug, self serving shower of cunts running the place with you.

Happy Christmas all.

Don't mind Charles. To be fair I think he has a moral conscience. He may have plenty of palaces but to be fair I don't remember many people who would fuck all their money off.

My dad's best mate is a hard-core socialist and he hated the royal family. Then he decided he didn't mind them because people like david Cameron and Boris Johnson could have all the money in the world but they could never ever be where they wanted

Sunak has tasked Dougie Smith with "weaponising" trans rights before the next election, apparently. Interesting to see how that goes, because even Tories don't give a fuck about it according to some focus grouping that came out recently.

I've already seen on Twitter certain right wing accounts trying to create a narrative that it's dangerous for women to vote for Keir Starmer.

It may become an issue if Labour is seen as effectively allowing men in spaces where women are vulnerable. Starmer needs to come out and nip this idea in the bud before it gains any traction.

Can't wait for those future FT graphs that have number of articles published on the subject vs public concern opinion polling

Yeah it's exactly that, although Tory voters, and the wider electorate, do seem less receptive to this stuff (at least for the time being, anyway).

Ah, "the left", yeah there's actually a chapter of Marx dedicated to Les Dawson's inappropriate humour.

One or the biggest reasons we need rid of the Tories now isn't just because or their politics, but the fact there's absolutely no talent left in their ranks, for a number of reasons.

The red wall Tory MPs wouldn't look out of place at a flat earth convention.

Truss was the ultimate canary in the coal mine, a leader of their party and the country with all the gravitas and mental fortitude of a button mushroom.

A mate of mine told me about him being met by army personel at the border control at the AirPort in London.

How do the government get away with this?

Eh?  For a politician to say this, it comes across as a bit dim!

(NB in the UK it is fairly common for the government of the day to draft in Armed Forces personnel to cover certain strikes, e.g. fire service, etc etc).

Norway is a civilized democracy, a government actively strikebreaking would mean the end to that government.

I see strikebreaking is permitted based on the law in the UK, the unions can’t do much either I see.

Shocking stuff.

Writes tweet saying Les Dawson wouldn't be allowed on TV these days whilst acknowledging he's on the tele that very evening.

Ah, down-to-Earth, call a spade a spade, Man of the People and professional northerner Lee Anderson.

The man who blames "bad budgeting" for poverty whilst claiming a quarter of a million pounds per year "expenses", and a man who gets his mate to pretend he doesn't know him on a televised door knock.

The absolute best of us...

I sometimes think that part of the problem with politicians is that they are so far removed from the reality of life for working class people that they couldn't possibly understand it. Yet when working class people get elected to Parliament its people like Lee Anderson!

Just had a scroll through his twitter account and the whole thing seems more like a parody account!

The scary thing is that he will probably increase his majority at the next election. The Midlands is full of these working class Tory types.

There should be some constitutional requirement that before any government can ‘tackle’ any type of culture war bullshit they have to get the basics in place. You can’t tank the economy, leave people choosing between heat& food, destroy the healthcare system and then start blabbering about how your priority is men who like to wear a dress

The mail already beginning on the labour and trans issues angle. The media in this country is a massive problem, non dom billionaire media owners shaping public opinion.

He reminds me of someone on here. Pull him up on his bullshit and it’s silence. Call him a cunt and it’s battle formations.
