Thanks, will read that one. Not going to waste my time on CCHQ stuff sorry SD.

It wasn't CCHQ, and he says practically the same things as FullFact. Seems a bit mad to dismiss one source and accept another when they're saying the same thing, but okay.

Stronts is right, they were both set up by Tories.

Liberal Democratic voters are the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet.

Every GE, there's 3-6m people who just think, "fuck it, I'm fine either way" and tick the yellow box.

Every time, a wasted vote.  Every single time.  Even the coalition, they hardly existed.  Swinson herself last night saying that her genocidal voting didn't really matter because they didn't control the government.

I'd rather that the Lib Dem voters just screwed up the ballot paper and shoved it up their arse.  It would save the polling stations a lot of time having to bother counting their fail vouchers, so we can get a result earlier and get this over with.

As someone who has worked at polling stations a lot, I can tell you how welcome that saved time would be.

If this post doesn't get at least 20 reps then there is no justice in the world. Post of the week.

So many Lib Dumbs, now currently saying they can't vote for Labour because of Corbyn, or because of anti-Semitism, yeah cool, fair enough, you prefer muslim hate-crimes, I get it, fine, but what's your excuse going to be when Corbyn goes?

When, again, there's 3-6m of you once again thinking of a way to not cast your vote, who are you going to blame then?

"the NHS is wasteful, it deserves to be sold off to private companies, who don't waste anything, at all"

(by the way, all the NHS cunts will quit and move into the private sector then, which is where the corporates came from in the first place)

"that Richard Burgon is northern and crass"

"Diane Abbott can't count"

"Hilary Benn is nothing like Tony Benn" (like you fucking know, you dickheads)

"They're bad with money"

"The Iraq War"

"I think they're still anti-Semitic"

Let's be honest, you're not intending to vote Labour, ever.  You also think you're somehow too clever to vote Tory, more intelligent.  You're actually worse than Tory voters.

Years of fucking apathy, that's your approach to politics.  A self-congratulatory vote, in yourself, for being so fucking clever.

Here's an example of just how useless you are.

1987 - 7.3m wasted votes (Tories won by 3.7m)

2010 - 6.8m wasted votes, said Swinson yesterday (Tories won by 2.1m)

2015 - 2.4m wasted votes (Tories won by 2m)

2017 - 2.3m wasted votes (Tories won by 0.8m)

There’s got to be an easier way than letting people decide who they vote for!

I mean, imagine if the 2 main parties see a third party gaining votes and adjusted their politics to win those votes?

This is the killer;

40% of working households have practically no savings.
70% of households have less than 10k savings.
60% of households can only survive 2 months without a wage.

We practically rent a life, and we leave nothing behind.

The Tories say we don't work hard enough.

Oh, while trying to eradicate inheritance tax, and keeping tax evasion/avoidance loopholes open.

Ha ha ha.

Don't worry.  Win or lose this election, there's change in the air.  Can't wait for the summer riots.

Imagine if we had a fair voting system, where the third/fourth/fifth etc parties got the representation they deserve, and were actually able to have a proper input and make a proper difference!

People will call me biased (nothing new there) but we have an electoral system which is designed for the benefit of two parties, and two parties only. Sending opprobrium to the people who are shut out of that duopolistic system is witless, at best.

Yes the electoral system needs reform, it’s heavily weighted to the two well established parties. However, living in the reality of where we are, any vote that doesn’t go to labour (in a seat they can win) is as good as a vote for the tories. You can pretend that it’s noble and democratic to exercise your right to vote for a third party, and that’s all well and good, but when it comes down to it we have a binary choice.

I'm not going to knock anyone who votes tactically, because I completely understand the feeling of wanting your vote to count and voting for a lesser evil, but third party supporters voting to keep Tories or Labour out are perpetuating and entrenching that duopoly.

Some will term them wasted votes, but any vote for parties outside the big two, even if there's no chance of victory, just adds to the mandate for electoral reform.

We had Tory governments throughout the 80s, and now, and probably for the next 5 years, even though most of the country is voting against them. I don't think this is a situation that can or should be allowed to continue.

That may have applied when Labour and tories were trying to shadow each other in the early to late 2000s, when the Lib Dem’s with Charles Kennedy, for example, would have genuinely been a “lesser of two evils” vote. Today it doesn’t. Lib Dem’s are chasing the tories to the right, labour offer a genuine alternative to the status quo. Voting Lib Dem or Tory today is an endorsement of the established order of power

Indeed.

You can pretend you're some sort of 'woke' and politically aware maverick by voting for Lib Dems, but in reality you're too stupid to understand how the system works, or you DO understand how it works and you're using it as a proxy to vote Tory.

Either way, you're not impressing anyone, and you're enabling a fascist government to get even more fascist, which apparently, Lib Dems are opposed to, or something, I dunno, who knows what being a Lib Dem means.  It's a party that's reinvented itself a few times now since the 1920s when it was last relevant.  But of course you know that, you're well into politics and stuff...

The only thing stopping the Lib Dems being relevant in the election is the Lib Dems themselves.  They can't create a narrative that supports what it is they are that fits between Labour and Tory, that's so different to either party that it necessitates the creation of a new party.  And 6m of you seem to fall for it.

Their flagship policy to cancel Brexit is retarded logic.  You can't just ignore the 2016 referendum, because you will create a subset of millions of people that fucking hate you forever.  How the fuck is their flagship policy going to work unless they win a majority?  Neither the Tories or Labour will entertain the idea in a coalition or supply and confidence arrangement.  So, what then?  You've lost your flagship policy, its gone.  And then you're left with what? Oh, roughly the same policies as Labour.

But you've just rammed Labour off the road in some seats, so what are  you left with?  That's right, a fascist government in bed with UKIP and Brexit Party.  You've also just helped elect loads of new Tory MP's, some of which are hardcore fascist bastards, who will look to implement things a lot worse than Brexit.

We'll have the death sentence back soon, that's for sure.  We'll probably also see legislation which will prevent mosques being built, and will start leaning heavily on measures to push Muslims out of the country.  The police will batter black lads, with no recourse in the crumbling court system.  Judges and QCs will have more death threats, many of which will go uninvestigated by the police.  The army will step up recruitment in all schools, we may even end up with national service as it will be more cost-effective than recruiting soldiers at the current rate of pay.

None of this is wild.  This is the type of shit these people say, each day, on social media, and in the Homebase car parks, and down the pubs.  And you're about to let them in, because you're too short-sighted to see how bad this can get, very quickly, as a majority Tory government drives through Acts in the next 5 years.

But well done for making your point about the 2 party system.  Very clever.

I'd agree on the need for political reform. However, I'd suggest it isn't best achieved by going into coalition with the Tories, and then deciding to go along with Johnson's election timetable because your vote appears to be peaking.

Yeah they’ve been operating in a pretty nakedly opportunistic manner, their record, their partnership in destroying the uk, is more reflective of where they actually are. Look at what labour are putting on the table, anybody trying to equate that with the tories is full of shit. Painting the Lib Dem’s as some kind of escape from the labour Tory duopoly is blatantly dishonest.

I think the best thing that could happen to this country is a new party is formed that is up-front, honest, strong and smart. They put the people of the country first but appreciate the need for trade and global relationships. Tax is fair and every penny is spent wisely. No corruption, no media bias and no pissing about.

Leader - AoT

Secretary of State - Pistonbroke

Chancellor - Woolster

Secretary of State - Lifetime Fan

Chancellor of the Duchy - Captain Turdseye

Secretary of State for Justice - Rubble Rouser

So, in a nutshell, if you don't like where Labour are going since the left wing of the party took over, you must vote for them anyway or you are enabling fascists.
