Cheltenham Festival 2015

Recommended Posts

Had a winner in all of the 7. Really fancied Annie Power but did Glens melody last week at a preview night when told that Annie Power would run in the world hurdle and did a tenner ew on cause of causes but really fancied the fave in that race and had 30 on that. Otherwise had a perfect day. Must give herself a good lot of the winnings or might go mad. Have a good few bets done for the week now and still 800 up. Off for the week and stayed in today but going for a lash of pints tomorrow. Looking forward to it now knowing I'm playing with Ladbrokes money.

Probably going to do Nicholas Canyon/Don Poli/Sire De Grugy in a patent/trixie.

Few others I like in Sire Collonges, Stone Hard and Southfield Theatre.

I really fancy Geraghty today and that's shown in my lucky 31 below.

1.30 L'ami Serge

2.20 Josses Hill

2.40 Gallant Oscar

3.20 The New One

4.00 Polly Peachum

At least I'm up on the day! Glad I backed these EW

Polly done on the line and L'ami Serge missing a place and today.could have been a lot better!

Going for a small stakes Sopranos related lucky 15 tomorrow, for giggles and interest.

Will be doing proper bets too. The Sopranos selections are:

Uncle Junior

Lyvius (his ma is called Lyvia)

Box Office (it's on HBO - Home Box Office)

Dodging Bullets (a bit tenuous)

My ma does shit like this, picking on names, and wins some, jammily.

Trixie - Nichols Canyon/Don Poli/Sire De Grugy.

L15 - Southfield Theatre/Champagne Fever/Sire Collonges/Bordini

E/W L15 - Ordo Ab Chao/Mr Mole/Beatabout The Bush/Stone Hard

Small stakes today, not much I've got a strong opinion on.

Sire's run a couple of weeks ago was the highest rated this year. But is 2 weeks enough rest especially when he was conceding 20lb all round even though he blitzed the other horses? Hopefully it'll be a cracker as I'd love to see Sprinter Sacre run a good race too.

Just about broke even yesterday, which wasn't too bad as I didn't back any of the favourites.

Going the e/w route again today, with a little bit of something in each race.

13:30     Beast Of Burden

14:05     If In Doubt

14:40     Lac Fontana & Dell’ Arca & Rolling Star (to place).

15:20     Mr. Mole

16:00     Ipsos Du Berlais

16:40     Box Office & Souriyan

17:15     Pylonthepressure & General Principle.

Will be well happy with another break even day 'cause you'll never get such an enjoyable day at no cost!
