I always remember him for that utterly classless celebration of his own side losing 5-0 with Adebayor because AVB phased them out. If anyone associated with our club did anything like that i'd want them out immediately.

Terrible that, players do not give one solitary shite do they. From when we beat them, was it?

Or the money we've gotten in loan fees the last 18 or so months.

How much were the loan fee's and was it a full wage contribution? I'd be surprised if we were paid a fee and full wage for him.

I'm not even that bothered if we actually made a loss or a small profit. I just don't like this £5m-£10m a season we spend on players to develop, loan and sell. It's great if you're Chelsea and can afford the best of everything anyway but we should be putting every last penny in to the first team squad with players we'll actually use.

Really hope the rumour about Delph is untrue. He's totally brainless on the pitch. Good engine but that's about it. Stevie is irreplaceable but we should at least try and get someone in who borders world class.

Classic Liverpool signing - a solid decent English player who has won a few caps for England. How the fuck the owners think we will compete with the likes of chelsea by signing the likes of delph I will never know.

Lucas out for what it would cost to bring in Delph would be decent enough business. Not ideal but relatively low fee and it's probably as good as we're going to get in this window.

Be ace getting Bob back. I like Manquillo a lot but he doesn't offer much in an attacking sense. I'd get in Arbeloa and sell Enrique. Bob can cover both full-back positions and so can Flano when he's fit. Them 3 and Moreno as our full-backs would do me.

I'm going to try and remain calm. If we, being in some difficulty, assess our situation, explore our options and conclude that Fabien Delph is the answer, I'll be very, very disappointed. As if this summers transfer activity wasn't incompetent enough.......

I reckon someone is trying to see how many England B players we can sign.

Is he a wonderful technician with a wonderful appetite for the game? Not in this life, you stupid cock suckers!

*Quick skim read*

Rafa's fault, no?

Embarrassing for that total bunch of quims slagging Rafa off when we were on our way to our highest points total since 1988. In fact, I believe its the most points in a 38 game season in the history of the football club.

If theres any truth to the Delph rumours i'd guess the stats Adebisi posted a few posts back are a big reason behind it.

Delph looked a good prospect when he was at Leeds and then he went and joined Villa 4 or 5 years ago and not been hugely impressive since.

You could argue it'd be hard to shine in a Villa team over the past few years but in saying that a lot of players have impressed in weak teams over the past few years and earned themselves moves. He hasn't.

Its a moneyball statisticians wet dream.

I don't know if it is money ball? I think it's terrible judgement yet again, as Manu allegedly target Morgan schneidelin. A player of real quality.

Fabien Delph has done fuck all in the game, does not have potential to be much more than he is, will come and have a couple of solid performances, be hailed as a master stroke, then end up being defended by one of the many forum baffoons before we sell/loan him out, whilst of course we pay a percentage of his wages.

We need change at the club.

Well Rodgers clearly doesn't like your bog-standard holding midfielder (or just DMs in general) so ones that run about and dribble now and then are right up his street!

I have no idea where he starts for Villa. I don't think anybody does and if they do they have too much time on their hands watching that shower of shite. They're the worst side in the league. 11 PL goals says it all. I'd feel sorry for Villa fans, but they're goons so..
