Should Glen Johnson get a new contract?

Anyone noticed that since Johnson's gone, the negativity regarding other players has increased?

It's like he was a lightning rod for abuse. Now he's gone - and Lovren's not playing - it's open season on who everyone thinks is the shittest.

Who's next in line? Lovren, Lucas, Skrtel, Moreno...?

I couldn't find another thread to put this in, so this will have to do.

Anyone following the "Greatest Premier League Goals" on the Offal?  It still makes me laugh to see Johnson score a screamer against his former club, West Ham, and do the muted refusal to celebrate thing; compared to when he scored against Chelsea and went ballistic.

It's almost as if Chelsea are cunts, through and through.

Was a big fan of him in his prime. Pace, strength, could dribble, had a good touch, was two-footed, intelligent guy. Had the lot really, but couldn't put it all together. Should have been a lot better for us than he ended up being.

Was decent in the beginning like you said, but I wouldn't be surprised if it came out at some point that he was suffering from depression or alcoholism like a few other players recently. He seemed to play like he was hungover most games.

And despite him being shit he was always on the pitch when fit, he might have benefited from being benched a bit to regain some form.
