Klopp is still an unknown quantity even though he's obviously done well, he's had a bad season and would still be a punt, albeit an exciting one.

 

Ancelotti is tried and tested. This is what we've needed since Rafa went, a TOP class, proven football man able to attract and manage top class quality players.

I agree with this. Ancelotti has done it in different leagues and has experience of managing several massive clubs and a couple of very rich ones.

 

Klopp would still be a big upgrade on Rodgers but he's not in the same league as Ancelotti.
