Id be happy if he did. Without Rooney and Terry though. I'm not anti Rooney, he's a great player, but the romanticist in me thinks the lads that got this far should carry on... and I just don't take to John Terry as a person (can't deny his ability though)

Milner's a workhorse, but what's wrong with that?

Carroll's no Ibrahimovic, but if it's a good cross and in the air, he'll nod it home - what's wrong with that?

 

For me, Gerrard should have been our captain for the last 6 years or so, so seeing him winning something for England would be amazing. Ain't gonna happen though.

The funny thing about that is that Germany's team IS made up of superstars.

 

Just because the pundits/supporters are too ignorant to recognise that they are superstars in the Bundesliga it doesn't mean Germany's squad is actually filled with average workmanlike players like Milner.

Johnson has looked really good in all the games so far, although I'm sure he will get a rollicking from Roy from breaking from the two banks of four.

 

Ukraine have started well although someone needs to tell them Joe Hart isn't Shay Given and stop shooting at will.
