Fell a bit bad for Carroll as he hasn't done anything wrong recently. I'd like to get Bellamy in there somewhere but Kuyt & Downing deserve to keep their places after recent showings.

 

With Henderson, Bellamy, Carroll & Maxi on the bench, we have plenty to change it with if necessary.

Well, yeah. I think they're more "horribly inconsistent" than "shite" given that they have lost 8-2 to United this season, but stuck 10 past Spurs and Chelsea (away) and hit 7 against Blackburn

Two in the middle would be folly against Arsenal, even more so with Agger out and Carragher having to start - that forces us to play deeper by default. We'd be handing them a considerable advantage if we go with a Gerrard - Adam partnership. Spearing needs to join them.
