sorry tom i was only joking about the rockets, but have you noticed how much wages we have flirted this summer. the players we have brought in will not outweigh the wages we have got rid of. still time to add to our squad and money to spend.

It’s really fucking simple. whats really simple is, that only an idiot signs an extension to his contract if he believes it is likely that he will be leaving at the end of the season. if suarez hadn't agreed to the extension (and more money) he would probably be at madrid now for around £40m. instead the thick twat expects lfc to accept less than he is worth and let him go to the one club that we have an outside chance of challenging for their champions league spot and now pay up a three year contract (with higher wages) rather than the old contract because he wont hand in a transfer request. the bloke needs to get an agent who knows what he is doing.

the answer is stop buying shite players and putting them on high wage long contracts. and in the case of torres and suarez a contract is fully enforceable unless an acceptable bid arrives and the player wants to go. transfer requests dont count for much if the club isnt satisfied with the bid.

i just watch for the memories. the numbers mean feck all really. one thing that struck me while watching lately was the amount of brilliant goalscoring fullbacks we've had.

because he wants to go, he is embarrassing the club, has made cunts of everyone who has stuck by him and is worth enough money that we should be able to buy at least two top players with proceeds. so unless you were being sarcastic i cant think of a good reason to keep him.
