Hamann Appointed County Boss

Liverpool FC legend Dietmar Hamann has been confirmed as County's new manager, taking over the reins from Ray Mathias.

At a press conference taking place right now, the club have confirmed Liverpudlian Tony Evans as a major investor, and German international Hamann as first-team manager.

No word yet on Mathias' future. Keep checking back for more.

Rumours abound the new consortium is a front for Stephen Vaughn ex Chester chairman...

Fucking hell that cunt is trying to buy everyone, he was trying to buy Wrexham aswell but was exposed and there was mass protest, dirty cunt.

Good luck Didi, I wish him all the best until he faces Wrexham.

He's just resigned.

Not altogether surprising. Too many of our former players try their luck coaching Stockport, Wrexham or Chester City (Chester FC as they are now called) and it seems to go pear-shaped all too frequently. Still, he could always come back here and show our midfielders how to remain compact and organised, and win cheap free-kicks when the pressure is on.
