Arsenal are understood to be close to finalising a deal for Brazil international Andre Santos.

 

Left-back Santos is set to arrive from Fenerbahce in a deal worth just over £6million.

 

The 28-year-old has over 20 caps for Brazil, and is now believed to be in London ahead of completing a deal to Emirates Stadium.

 

Arsenal are in need of cover at left-back having sold Gael Clichy to Manchester City earlier in the summer and recently allowing Armand Traore to talk with newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers.

How will he know where to go?

I`d say you could argue Lucas was around our 8/9th best player last year and get away with it.

 

For Modric, not even in the wildest fantasy world has he been anything close to be the best player in the league, neither in the past, not at present and with 99,99& accuracy never in the future either.

 

Yes he can run with the ball and go past a few players but does that make him the best player in the PL, hardly.

 

Meireles created more attacks, assistsed more goals, scored more goals, tackled more, won more of his tackles, had more shot on goals, hit goal with a better percentage of his shots.

 

Meireles is now seen as a waste from some of our fans while others claims Modric was the best player in the PL?

I used to make a bit of money a few seasons ago betting on Kalou as last scorer, but otherwise please god no. Sturridge would be worth a straight swap with Raul, otherwise I would rather keep him.
