Well it's gone way too far now. So obviously if there's no denial tomorrow then that's that. What makes this particularly strange to me, if true, is that he clearly had a complete change of personality when Dalglish came in. He looked in a great mood and played like he was well up for it. If he'd had his heart set on going there's no way that would have happened to the extent it did. Very, very strange. The only possible theory i have at the moment is that he was really hoping we'd have an amazing transfer window or something and maybe in his mind he hadn't ruled out champions league qualification if we had signed the right players.

We need to bring in Rick Parry specifically to negotiate this deal - he can use all his old tricks and turn the mobile off, pull out the plug on the fax machine, settle down for the 'long haul' of a deadline day, and wake up sheepishly on Tuesday morning with the deadline having passed.

I'm tempted to get a season ticket to rep that. Made me laugh out loud and wake the wife up.

So why Chelsea of all places...?

10 points behind the leaders, aging squad, a bunch of shithouse cunts playing for them, plastic fans and flags.

Besides that, we've rejected the transfer request, what will he do now ?

Will he and the club construct some kind of 'please forgive me' scheme ?

And how will the fans react to it ?

Right I said earlier that people should hold off on the abuse, well that's no longer valid.

Just to clarify, I never thought it was bullshit; I had a bad feeling, just thought the lynching was a bit premature.

Anyway, I'm kind of gutted, but not as much as I thought I'd be. Onwards and upwards! Would absolutely love to destroy them at stamford bridge next week.
