It belongs to the guy who owns Delta taxis and it has been on the market for 18 months. It was 3.6 Million in January. My mate has a gardening business and does most of the gardens on Hall Road.

Carragher lives on Warren Road opposite the key park/tennis club

Gerrard lives in Formby and has done for about 5 years.

nah. Carra lives on the same estate as this one that's for sale. 100% deffo.

The one opposite teh Key Park was a big old house that Gerrard bought to demolish and rebuild but he couldn't get planning permission. I think he still owns it and it's just rotting, unless someone else bought it as it was, I dunno, it was before he bought that one on Victoria Road a few years back.

Brought some clients to the Man City v Spurs match tonight and in the programme there is a statement from Stephen Ireland denying rumours that have been spread about him, i know that it may not stop it but it might be a start for Gerrard to so the same.

Incidentally, the Ireland rumour is that he is building a shark tank in his kitchen - that is a bizarre rumour to spread.

That'll be a relief to his family, including all 17 of his grandparents.

I fucking hate football

Awful idea as well by the way, by doing that he'd basically be spreading the rumours to a few thousand people who hadn't heard it yet and would in turn spread it all over Norway, Asia, America and Rhyl.

Here's Stevie at his new commercial venture, The Elisha Scott Memorial Bar & Bistro:

What's with this picture, have they fucked up the aspect ratio or what?

He looks like he's about to audition for Franz Ferdinand, they've turned him into a stick insect.

Also, next time you post something that includes the words "Alex Curran nips", please ensure that it lives up to it's billing - I was most dismayed.

Alex Curran's united front with husband Steven Gerrard as she attends opening of his new bar

By Chris Johnson

Last updated at 11:53 AM on 5th May 2010

Alex Curran looked a million dollars last night as she turned out for the relaunch of a bar her husband Steven Gerrard has helped finance.

Despite rumours that their marriage had hit a bad patch, the 27-year-old WAG was in good spirits as she arrived at the Warehouse Kitchen and Bar in Southport.

But she spoke out to deny claims the three-year marriage had come to an end.

And last night she turned out in a daringly short beige dress and brown heels at the eaterie that showed some of the reasons why she had snared Gerrard in the first place.

Liverpool captain Gerrard, 29, has become co-owner of the chi-chi brasserie with close friend, Merseyside hotelier Paul Adams.

Other stars who turned out to the opening included Claire Sweeney, actress Sheree Murphy and Dutch-born Liverpool star Dirk Kuyt and wife Gertrude.

Liverpool captain Gerrard, 29, recently put in a day's work helping to build a wall at the New York-style restaurant.

Speaking ahead of last night's relaunch Mr Adams, 47, said: 'On the final day of the work we had 40 workmen in here.'

'Forty-one actually,' interrupted Gerrard.

Mr Adams said: 'Steve comes in and says "How's everything going? Can I help with anything? Here you are, I'll help with that," and he was right in there.'

'I got a blister. I had to play my part though,' added the Anfield star.

The Warehouse is Gerrard's first venture into the trade. And he is sure the pair can increase the reputation hotelier Mr Adams has built over 14 years.

'He's got someone to blame now if it doesn't,' joked Gerrard.

'I've been coming here for about 11 years now so obviously loved the food and just got chatting to Paul and we've met many times away from the restaurant through mutual friends.

'We've always got on well and I've always taken a massive interest in the Warehouse because I've eaten here and been a big fan of the place.

'I mentioned to him a couple of times before that if ever he was looking for a partner in the Warehouse I'd be interested.

Football's always going to be my main priority in life up until I retire but you can't play football for ever.

'You have hobbies and interests and this is a new exciting venture for me.

'It's the first time I've come into it.'

Despite stories about the father-of-two being a talented chef - and challenging team mates to 'cook offs', Gerrard insisted his hands-on involvement would not extend to the kitchen - as his wife knows.

'You won't like my cooking, believe me - Alex will tell you that,' he said.

'I'll be in the background but it's nice to be involved. It'd be nice to learn.

'Hopefully, this will be a project and we can expand and take it to different areas because this is a fantastic place to come and spend time.

'I've eaten all around the world and I'm very confident that we can produce not only a great atmosphere but quality food for people.'

'When you're married you treat your missus and bring her into eat - and I come in here with the boys now and again.'

The restaurant - on a former garage and jeans manufacturing site - has a Michelin Bib Gourmand award (given for exceptional, moderately priced food).

Mr Adams, who owns the nearby Vincent Hotel, said during financially tight times the restaurant stood out for its value.

'The whole business depends on consistency - quality of food, the produce, the service, atmosphere and decor, it's the whole picture.

'Why we should do OK is because we offer a good value product - we're not cheap but we're certainly not expensive with great produce.

'We're a very comfortable, atmospheric venue.'

Gerrard isn't the only world beater there.

The restaurant also has a former world champion bar-tending cocktail specialist in Mr Adams's nephew, Tony Adams.

Fuck me. He's went downhill since he left Pompey.

Could only read a bit of that, makes me cringe the way they write and the stuff they go on about. I don't really like knowing about players personal lives either. (unless it's a birthday thread to say happy birthday, etc.)
