Really think goals will come. We are creating chances, someone is going to get a hiding, no idea when, but it'll come. Gerrard being on the bench, used sparingly or sitting deeper will help that

Feel sorry for him, well as much as you can feel sorry for someone earning a week, what it'll take 4 years to earn. He seems to be vilified by pretty much most Really thought he'd be the bees knees for us, still hope he will.

The striker I'd have, if we could would be Llorente. I really thought, and I've not yet given up on him, that Carroll could do for us what Llorente does for Bilbao. Whenever I've seen him play, he's just physically battered defenses down. Like the way Carroll did against us last season.

All very interesting. Just can't see where he fits into the whole Moneyball scheme of things though. Added to that, would you want someone, who just doesn't seem to enjoy or even like playing football any more?

I think its reasonable not to expect much more than 25 games a season from him, however I'd be happy with that next 4-5 years and use him sparingly

Never been a fan, and always had concerns, but his form this season has been splendid. Still worry about his heading, and he should get far more goals for us

totally agree. Its strange, that in a world were through technology, communciaction is almost people instantaneous, that you can still feel so alone. And thats from my own experience as well.

Can't even imagine the feeling of being that alone, that suicide becomes the only option. My thoughts go out to anyone who has had to deal with suicide in their lives

Fair point about France, but looking at some of the players Spain have coming through, not sure I agree. Slightly moving off topic there, but have to say great post

I like the look of Javi Martinez myself, puts himself about, big physical presence, looks like he could take games by the scruff of the neck. I personally think its the formation we play though thats makes the midfield look weak. Lucas Sitting, and Adam and Gerrard a little further advanced. Wouldnt be many teams dominating us then.
