Ferguson was only manager of Scotland for 5 mins. I don't even think Kenny was playing for Scotland then although I stand to be corrected on that. I know he didn't pick Alan Hansen for the World Cup squad in 86 but I am 99% sure Kenny had retired by then.

 

If you read the chapter in Kennys book about him and Ferguson in which Kenny devotes a chapter to it he said there was never any feud between them and they had one disagreement back in 1988 with the Kennys daughter incident. Other than that they have always been friends.
