  1. He (and the club) could always tell Sky and ESPN to fuck off and refuse to play any day other than Saturday.
  2. That'll be the same type of uproar as when Capello plays him on the left, then?
  3. I can't comprehend a player not wanting to give an entire career of fantastic service to Liverpool, but there's plenty of the fuckers around. For the record, I agree with you that both Gerrard and Carragher deserve a few out-of-jail cards for their performances, but if they are (alledgedly) handing bombs to the press for them to throw at Benitez then they need pulling up for it. The same way ANYONE at the club caught doing this should be.
  4. No. I'd probably get together with my like-minded 'true Reds' and have a chat with the manager, explain to him that he has got it all wrong, then all work together to get us out of the shite mess we are in. Meanwhile all of the other players/shithouses/staff (delete as required) can go running to slag him off to the press, and then play out of their skins so as to impress the 'new' manager when he arrives.
  5. Neville does Rain Man (again)... Woman with glasses "Come on Gary, come and sit down. I promise we'll get the bus back"
  6. Has Winter moved to a red-top? That report reads like it's been written by a 15 year old. And the last line of the Samuel article is slightly silly.

They have (had)* 2 datacentres located in Maidstone (flagship one) and Bristol, which house most of the midrange/mainframe servers (depending on which customer you support). Doesn't mean that you'll end up working in either one of them though, as they have (had) distributed teams around the country. Contract transfer is done under TUPE so most of your current benefits are protected (I don't think your pension is taken on straight away though), and I'm fairly sure they can't re-negotiate your contract unless you take another job with them (could be wrong with this though). All in all it's not a bad company to work for. Usual 1-person-doing-2-persons-job type place. Try and get on the bid teams and you'll get a bit of travel thrown in. Aldershot has a stonking canteen by the way.... * I say 'had' as it's been a few years since I left.
  8. Ah, right'o (though I'll have some hobnobs instead if you don't mind, as I'm not partial to custard creams).
  9. How much must house insurance be in them parts? And popping out for a paper must be a bit of a lottery as well.
  10. I got LRPIAE How the fuck are you supposed to spell and add up with that parading in front of you? What in God's name is this woman being hidden away on an afternoon show for?
  11. Well go out and buy her the Leah 'slave' costume and get some pictures on here tout de suite!
  12. That's the plums! It'll save me hours of time not having to cut my youngest's toast into shapes of his favourite Star Wars figures!
  13. I know, I'm sorry. I hate cats more than most things in this world but do understand that some people (wierd though it seems to me) like them, so I'll step away from the thread..... Some of the pictures do make me chuckle though.
  14. That's probably because it was waiting for you to die so it could eat you. And then shit in your garden (as opposed to your neighbours).
  15. Ah, yes, but can he run really fucking fast though? Look, I know I'm being a bit of a twat (and he probably can cross the ball some of the time and run really fast), but there is £25m mentioned further up the page, which I assume is related to Ashley Young. Football's gone to shit.
  16. Ah, yes, but he can run really fucking fast while not being able to cross a ball, at all.
  17. How much money do you think is 'worth doing time for' then?
  18. Had a pair of Patrick Chile when I was a kid. Loved them. Best boots I've ever had were Puma Maradona.
  19. Barry should hope that City don't sign a few more midfielders and he becomes part of their rotation policy. Ladyman is up Ferguson's arse and loves an opportunity to twist the knife into Liverpool.
  20. Is that him playing the Cliff Richard part in a remake of Summer Holiday?
  21. Yeah, I saw that quote (i.e. Barca being the only team on the planet that can match them) on the itv website as well. I'd say the current Spanish national side would give them a run for their money as well. Or do they mean domestic team? If so I wish they'd be a bit more fucking clear about it! I'm not sure what winds me up more - Utd as an entity, or the way the press laud them as the pinnacle of football itself.
  22. If any one of Us, Chelsea or Barca had been in Utd's side of the draw then they (Utd) wouldn't have made the final.
  23. You're halfway to answering your own question there.
  24. Has he got 2 arrows sticking in his chest there? Bloody hell. He's got a cracking dentist as well, all considering.
  25. You have a big advantage over me in that you have an appetite to watch him. From what I have seen of him he's a good player and I can't argue against his goal tally (Utd wouldn't have won the league for the last 3 years without him). He's not a midfielder though.
