It's tragic to hear how bad he is now, it's just incredibly sad.

I just hope he can get some treatments to ease his suffering.

I don't want to have a go at the club or the ex players because they might do an awful lot for him, and wish it to remain private. I just hope people at the club remember what a fantastic servent he was for LFC and that should never be forgotten.

Thanks for posting this link up, reminded me of some wonderful memories. Did anyone go to Chelsea when he scored on his debut?

 

Yes, I was there too. Ray got a first-half header at the 'open end' opposite the Shed. Phil Boersma scored with another header in the first-half and added a third in the second-half. I was with a Chelsea fan from work in the seats on the side. He disappeared into the bar after Boersma's first goal and never came back for the second half and nor did a lot of other Chelsea fans judging by the empty seats after the interval.

Boss day out that, 3.0 if my memory serves me right.
